Located in the heart of Indianapolis, L.D. Smith Plumbing provides plumbing services to customers in the Indianapolis area, including Carmel, Fishers, Zionsville, Westfield, Brownsburg, and Greenwood. We have invested in the latest equipment and technology to handle every type of plumbing job.
Since 2011
Our History
It’s an understatement to say Lance loves plumbing. It’s his passion, especially the dirty part of the job. Despite being the sole owner of L.D. Smith Plumbing, Lance is rarely at his desk, punching numbers. He spends as much time as he can working alongside his team, pulling tree roots from sewer lines or crawling in tiny spaces in search of the source of a foul smell. Plumbing is Lance’s life, and he wouldn’t want it any other way.
After 10 years in the plumbing industry, Lance decided to start his own plumbing business. He started working out of his garage in 2011 determined to stand out from competitors by providing quality service at a fair price without the gimmicks. The formula worked.
By 2012, L.D. Smith Plumbing was no longer a garage business, but a fully staffed shop located near 71st Street and Binford Boulevard in Indianapolis.
In 2017, Lance and his team moved to an even larger space on 2400 Southeastern Ave.
Although Lance is passionate about his job, he is just as committed to volunteering in the Indianapolis community. He donates plumbing services to many local organizations, including NeighborLink. An animal lover at heart, Lance shares his passion and support with shelters and shelter pets throughout Central Indiana. Check out “Big Dog of the Week,” to see just a glimpse.
