Here are a few tips to keep in mind while using your garbage disposal to keep things moving along during meal prep:
- Avoid tossing starchy items or entire bowls of leftovers down the disposal.
- Non-food items are NOT for the garbage disposal.
- Always remember to turn on the water first, then the disposal before putting in the food. Reverse the process after food is discarded.
