Sewer Cleaning or Drain Line Cleaning

It’s critical that your sewer line operates efficiently. When it doesn’t, your home is vulnerable to backups in your toilet, bathtub, sinks, floor drains, etc. Major factors in clogging your sewer line are tree roots, disposable wipes flushed down the toilet instead of placed in the trash, hair, broken or sunken lines, lines hit by other utility contractors, and other buildups over time. Clogged drains are a common problem solved easily with drain cleaning. L.D. Smith Plumbing offers customers the latest technology and equipment for drain cleaning.

A professional-grade drain cleaning is more detailed than a drain cleaning solution purchased at the local hardware store or supermarket. In many cases, those products could create even larger problems by moving the blockage further down the pipe instead of eliminating it.

As part of this service, L.D. Smith Plumbing also offers water jetting, or “jetting” as a fast, effective method. A jetter is used when drain lines cannot be cleaned in a conventional sewer cleaning. The jetter, attached to a water source, is pushed through the drain line. Water is essentially sprayed through the line at a pressure of up to 3000 psi to remove the blockage, essentially pressure washing your drain line.
