Yes, plumbers can and do install gas lines. In fact, plumbers are among the most qualified to repair or install gas lines. Our plumbers at L.D. Gas leaks can unfortunately be a part of a natural gas distribution system.  If you smell gas, immediately contact your local gas provider and vacate the area.  In the state of Indiana, the local gas company is responsible for the meter, and then the homeowner is responsible for maintaining gas lines inside the home. If it is determined that the leak is beyond the meter, call LD Smith Plumbing to make the proper repairs!
