 Sewer and water tap installations are needed when you are building a new home and also when there is damage to existing lines, additional properties being added to the line, or upgrading the lines.  Many older water lines have sections of lead or are galvanized that need to be replaced as well. 

These taps connect the lines on your property to the municipal water/sewer systems. Often the taps are installed at a new property, and a plumber is needed to make the connection. There are other cases when a tap needs to be installed such as when a homeowner is converting from a septic tank to a sewer tap. 

If there is a need for an install, L.D. Smith Plumbing is insured and bonded by the City of Indianapolis and surrounding municipalities to provide the service. L.D. Smith Plumbing will apply for all permits for the installation and coordinate the inspection of the sewer and/or water taps. 

 Once installed, sewer and water taps require no maintenance and should last for years. Our plumbers typically identify problems with a sewer or water tap while repairing other issues on the property.
