I’m supporting Mutt Strut because adopting Sophie was one of the best decisions of my life. I’m proud to help Indy Humane continue its efforts to care for all animals and connect them with loving homes.

Five  years ago, I adopted a feisty, smart and lovable dog. Among the many dogs available for adoption, I chose Sophie. The decision didn’t take long. I chose her because she was in a room by herself for getting in trouble, and there was something about her cute face that just clicked.

Since that day, Sophie has been right by my side. From vacations to day-to-day duties at the plumbing shop, Sophie is living a very full life. She not only brings joy to my life, but to the entire staff at L.D. Smith Plumbing. She may be cruising in one of our vans on our service call, enjoying her favorite chew toy in my office or standing patiently as our office team dresses her in the latest company swag. Sophie is loved, and I couldn’t imagine life without her.

As a participant in this year’s Mutt Strut, I know you share the same appreciation for furry friends. Thank you for supporting this great event and all the great work of Indy Humane.
